As a small reminder, be sure to read the rules of this ladder, you can find them here. One of the most frequently asked questions seem to be if there's a "ladder season" or not, like in the realms, the answer to this is no. You can start playing in the SPF HC ladder whenever you want and you can take a break from it if you want.

For those undecided on what type of character to create for this ladder, or if you're having problems with your current character, I suggest looking up the guide for that build in the Build Guides section of the site that has a huge list on the guides that can be found in the various forums in the www.diabloii.net.
